Antique, Edwardian, 18ct Gold and Platinum, Diamond Bezel Set Trilogy Engagement RingThis wonderful antique ring features 3 graduated diamonds, all of which sit securly in their platinum millegrain settings atop an 18ct Gold band. The central old cut diamond is the largest and measures 3mm in diameter. The shoulder stones are just a fraction smaller, and i would estimate the total ct size as 0. 35ct. The ring's open gallery allows light through it, helping these very lively diamonds to sparkle magnificently. This ring is stamped for

“Plique-à-jour” technique translates loosely as "letting in daylight" and it looks very similar to the stained glass effect one sees in churches
